The popular platformer Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was released on the previous generation platforms on October 2, 2020, but today Activision announced that an updated version is coming soon for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch consoles.
It will appear on March 12, 2021, while the PC version will also be released before the end of this year on the Blizzard Battle.net service, although the publisher did not give an exact date.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will receive improved graphics that can unleash the potential of current consoles – it will run in native 4K resolution with a refresh rate of 60 fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (for Xbox Series S, developers have provided upscale up to 4K ). In addition to improved graphics, owners of fresh consoles will get faster loading and 3D-audio effects, and “soniboi” – also support for the new DualSense controllers.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X version of Crash Bandicoot 4 costs $ 59.99, and owners of the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can update to the latest version for free. The version for the Nintendo Switch console, as well as the upcoming PC version, will cost $ 39.99.
