Audeze Euclid – In-ear magneto-planar headphones

If earlier, when releasing in-ear headphones, Audeze offered large-scale designs of varying degrees of openness, now the company has switched to a more familiar format.

At first glance, it is impossible to suspect a magneto-planar design in the new Euclid – however, this is the emitter used in these headphones. This is an 18mm diaphragm with Fazer’s patented proprietary waveguides, Fluxor magnets and Uniforce coils.

According to the developers, Audeze Euclid plays with such a scene and dynamic range that it is difficult to believe in the closed acoustic design of the model. With a sensitivity of 105 dB and an impedance of 12 ohms, the Audeze Euclid proved to be a fairly light load for an amplifier (by the standards of a planar). Headphones from 10 Hz to 50 kHz are playing and are ready to develop sound pressure up to 120 dB.

The headphones have an ergonomically shaped aluminum casing with a small 5 mm sound guide. Removable cables with MMCX connectors. The kit included a 3.5 mm cable, and a 4.4 mm balanced cable and a Bluetooth dongle will appear a little later.

The set also includes three types of ear pads (three pairs of branded silicone, silicone SpinFit and Comply foam), a hard transparent storage case, a pouch, a brush for cleaning the sound guides and a clip for attaching to clothes.

Each pair of Audeze Euclid is hand-assembled in the USA in small batches.
