Portland-based Campfire Audio has made a name for itself with its innovative line of high-end handcrafted IEMs . The company has a reputation for producing excellent headphones for professional use, and now the company has announced the release of the highly anticipated Trifecta IEMs.
With Campfire Audio Trifecta isn’t just announcing a new IEM. The launch of the Trifecta also marks the beginning of a new era in the premium headphone market. Only 333 units were produced worldwide. Trifecta is designed to push the limits of human perception of sound. Using three full-range 10mm dynamic drivers housed in an optically clear nylon housing, users can see the inner workings of the in-canal headphones.
The three dynamic drivers face each other in the shape of an equilateral triangle, combining the three devices into one voice that Campfire claims produces a uniquely juicy and powerful sound. Each gold-plated dynamic driver features high-purity copper and pure silver conductors encased in a lightweight and comfortable triangular Trifecta housing. Campfire says the Trifecta will wow listeners and immerse them in the music as soon as the headphones are unboxed.
The cables supplied with the Trifecta are a new addition to Campfire Audio’s range of IEMs. The Trifecta comes with three cables, all using Campfire’s Time Stream Cable design, which uses silver copper conductors with beryllium copper MMCX connectors. A choice of 2.5mm balanced jacks, 3.5mm stereo jacks and 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced jacks are available, so they are suitable for almost any type of use.
