Tanchjim has released the most expensive Kara headphones in its range, equipped with two different types of emitters – dynamic and reinforcing.
The low-frequency range is sounded by a DMT3 speaker with a 9-mm composite diaphragm of polyetheretherketone and polyurethane, the mid-frequency range is entrusted to a dual armature emitter Sonion 2389D , and another pair of composite armature drivers modified by the company is responsible for high and ultra-high frequencies. Their harmonious collaboration is ensured by a three-band analog crossover filter and precisely calculated waveguides.
The transparent body of the headphones is made of high quality hypoallergenic synthetic resin by 3D printing. Each pair comes with a set of custom-shaped silicone eartips to help equalize sound pressure inside the ear canal. The detachable cable has silver-plated copper conductors and is equipped with a 3.5 mm mini-jack . The sensitivity of the model is 115 dB , the impedance is 27 ohms .
The Tanchjim Kara in-ear hybrid headphones can be ordered online for $179 .
