The Swedish audio company, the developer of the Dirac room-correction software of the same name, has announced a partnership with Premium Audio Company. The results of the collaboration are already evident – the Dirac Live Bass Control system is already available in AVR systems owned by Premium Audio Company brands Onkyo, Pioneer, Pioneer Elite and Integra.
In turn, Live Bass Control is part of the Dirac Live family. Another of its components, Dirac Live Room Correction, is also included in the Premium Audio brands. Cooperation already has a certain history, for example, Dirac Live sound correction appeared in Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra AV receivers 2 years ago.

Dirac Live Bass Control Support Added to Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra Products
Models that support Dirac Live Bass Control include the Integra DRX-8.4, Elite VSX-LX805, Pioneer VSA-LX805, and Onkyo TX-RZ7, among others. “Our ongoing partnership with Dirac, which began with Dirac Live Room Correction and has now expanded to Dirac Live Bass Control, helps bring all of our brands and technologies to a wider range of consumers,” said Rob Standley, president of technology and premium audio products.
Dirac Live Bass Control technology takes into account the parameters and placement of all subwoofers in the system, evenly distributing bass throughout the room. At the same time, the low-frequency sound is synchronized with the sound of the front satellites.
“Regular consumers are demanding premium audio more than ever before, and accurate and convincing low-frequency response has become even more important for enjoying the full spectrum of sound,” said Fredric Tapper, vice president of home and professional audio at Dirac.
