At AXPONA 2025 in Chicago, USA, Innuos introduced its latest Stream series of electronic components, featuring two music streamer servers: the Innuos Stream1 and Innuos Stream3. This launch signifies a major shift in the Innuos digital audio lineup, as these new offerings will take the place of the discontinued ZEN Mk3 series models, which will continue to receive support.
The Innuos Stream1 serves as an introductory music streamer and server, yet it offers features tailored for dedicated music enthusiasts. This device is designed in a compact, half-width chassis. Users have the option to enhance the Innuos Stream1 with an additional LPS1 linear power supply, which is available in a complementary chassis. You can begin using the Innuos Stream1 with its standard USB audio output, or opt for various additional output modules such as the Standard DAC, Performance DAC, PhoenixUSB, or SPDIF.
The premium Innuos Stream3 is designed for those seeking top-tier audio performance. This streamer features an aluminum chassis with 10mm thick CNC-machined panels and a sophisticated ARC6-CX linear power supply. It incorporates Mundorf capacitors, developed in collaboration with Dr. Sean Jacobs. For audiophiles desiring an integrated DAC, the optional PhoenixDAC output module provides both single-ended and balanced outputs, along with OCXO and FEMTO clocks and a specialized analog control stage.
In addition to the new models, Innuos has introduced a beta version of Sense 3.3, its music management application. This update includes features such as Spotify Connect integration, Qobuz Connect support (currently available for Qobuz beta users), and a SmartQ function that resumes playback after a playlist concludes. A new Presets widget enhances usability by offering quick access to favorite playlists, mixes, and radio stations.
