xDuoo has released a new headphone amplifier TA20 Plus , which has a hybrid design and is able to drive even fairly complex headphones.
The model has a linear power supply, in which a 5Z4P lamp is used as a rectifier . To connect headphones, the amplifier has two balanced jacks – 4.4 mm and a four-pin XLR, as well as an unbalanced 6.35 mm output.
Signal pre-amplification is provided by a pair of 12AU7 double triodes , the output stage operates in class A and is built on selected transistors. The maximum power at the balanced output is 2600 mW into 32 ohms.
On the front panel of the device there is a pointer indicator of the output signal level, the amplifier chassis is machined from aluminum alloy on a CNC machine. To feed the signal to the amplifier, you can use one pair of balanced XLR inputs and two pairs of unbalanced RCA. The weight of the apparatus is 4.4 kg .
