ZTE has introduced a new flagship smartphone Nubia Z50. He received a screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a top-end processor from Qualcomm and the fastest memory. The manufacturer also draws attention to a noticeably improved camera compared to its predecessor and good autonomy.
Nubia Z50 received a 6.67-inch AMOLED display curved on the sides with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a color depth of 10 bits and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Declared the ability to display 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and peak brightness at 1000 nits. Both sides of the smartphone are covered with glass, and the frame is made of metal. There is also a version with eco-leather back.
The new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is used as a hardware platform. It is paired with up to 16 GB of fast LPDDR5x RAM and a next-generation UFS 4.0 drive up to 1 TB. The smartphone runs Android 13 with an updated MyOS 13 shell. According to the manufacturer, the system speed has been increased by 30%, and there are no ads in the firmware itself.
Nubia Z50 main camera is represented by a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor, f/1.6 lens, 35mm equivalent focal length and optical image stabilization. Specifies the use of a 7-element lens with 16 layers of optical coating to reduce flare. The second camera with a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 sensor allows you to shoot ultra-wide angle shots with a viewing angle of 116 °, and the presence of autofocus allows you to take macro photos. The third module at the back is a multi-channel spectral sensor. The front camera built into the screen has a resolution of 16 megapixels (OmniVision OV16A1Q).
Responsible for autonomy is a 5000 mAh battery with support for 80 W fast charging. Nubia claims that the smartphone can operate for 35.52 hours, and in extreme conditions, it is able to remain on standby for up to 30 days.
