TECNO announces the launch of a new generation of camera phones CAMON 20 with an advanced camera system and original design. The series includes four models – CAMON 20 Premier 5G, CAMON 20 Pro 5G, CAMON 20 Pro and CAMON 20.
The flagship of the CAMON 20 Premier 5G series stands out with a 50MP main camera with Sensor-Shift OIS and a 108MP wide-angle and macro lens, as well as an innovative eco-leather and ceramic design. The smartphone is equipped with a high-performance Mediatek Dimensity 8050 processor and a bright 6.7” AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The advanced CAMON 20 Premier 5G is able to create flawless shots and capture every detail even in motion thanks to the Sensor-Shift 3-axis stabilization system. The dual-drive movable module is 52% lighter and can compensate for up to 5,000 vibrations per second. Unlike the traditional stabilization system, the new solution does not reduce image quality. Even in low light, up to 93% of footage is retained.
Night shooting technology has become even more advanced in CAMON 20 Premier 5G. Regardless of the time of day, the smartphone is able to create rich and natural shots. So, compared with previous models, the light transmission has increased by 200%, and the noise in the photo has been reduced by 35%.
The 50 MP main module is equipped with an ultra-sensitive RGBW sensor – by replacing one “green” pixel (G) with a “white” pixel (W) in the traditional RGGB layout, the smartphone is able to catch more light.
The camera lens consists of one glass and six plastic lenses, and an ultra-wide 1.0 micron pixel allows the light stream to effectively fill the entire area of the photosensitive matrix. The main camera of the smartphone is equipped with a Laser AF sensor, which helps tenaciously focus on the subject.
The CAMON 20 Premier 5G also features an incredibly clear 108MP camera for both panorama and macro photography. Adaptive pixel technology combines 9 small pixels into one large 1.92 µm pixel, which improves light sensitivity. A large sensor to the smallest detail captures objects in the picture, even in low light conditions. The 114.5° field of view and PDAF autofocus also ensure excellent macro and panorama shots.
The 32MP high-resolution front-facing camera with soft dual flash and AI-based algorithm helps you capture flawless selfies. A smart algorithm analyzes facial features in 319 points, down to the smallest strands of hair. The AI then analyzes gender, skin tone, and environment to create a custom beautification algorithm for each user.
CAMON 20 Premier 5G features a large 6.7” AMOLED screen with ultra-clear FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels). With support for 100% DCI-P3 extended color gamut, the smartphone provides the most saturated and natural color reproduction of photos and videos.
The lower frame of the screen has become thinner by 47%, which makes the smartphone almost frameless and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the content. The adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz automatically adjusts to user scenarios, such as increasing during high performance gaming and decreasing when the battery is low. The screen sampling rate of 360 Hz provides instant response even with a light touch.
TÜV Rheinland certification guarantees eye protection. High-frequency dimming reduces eye muscle fatigue, and special screen technology filters out a significant portion of the blue spectrum and minimizes its harmful effects. The high PWM frequency of 1920 Hz will also protect your eyes while using your smartphone at low brightness.
CAMON 20 Premier 5G stands out for its high performance thanks to MediaTek Dimensity 8050 octa-core processor, which is based on 6nm process technology. Processor speed up to 3 GHz prevents freezes and slowdowns, and also increases the speed of photo and video shooting. Three-stage heat dissipation using graphene polymer protects the smartphone from overheating, and guarantees incredible performance.
The energy-intensive 5000 mAh battery has a large reserve of charge, which will last for a long time for the most productive tasks. A 45 W charger will allow you to replenish energy up to 100% in 55 minutes without harming the battery.
