Design

The appearance of the Hisense 55E7HQ TV does not violate any design conventions, not differing from its predecessor E76GQ . Thin dark frames do not interfere with their presence while viewing, especially in the dark. The lower bezel is twice as thick and features the Hisense logo. Widely spaced legs confidently keep the TV from rocking.

Colors look accurate and natural, whether you’re watching nature movies or dramas. Although, admittedly, the 250 nits HDR brightness isn’t as high as in more expensive models. There is no adaptive brightness to automatically adjust the screen settings according to the lighting conditions in the room. This way you will get the best viewing experience on a cloudy day or in the evening.

When it comes to picture modes, the E7HQ has a lot to choose from. These are HDR Day, HDR Night, HDR Dynamic, HDR Sports or Auto. Selecting HDR Day makes it more visible in the sun, but also makes the colors a bit oversaturated, while HDR Night makes them too dull. Most people will choose HDR Standard because it does the job quite well.

There is also an auto mode which is just as good and uses Alphonso Video AI to improve the image depending on the type of content on the screen. But to do this, it will collect data about what you watch and use it to improve targeted advertising. Not everyone will be so interested.

Smart TV

Sound quality

So, we have already said that the Hysens E7HQ TV has three HDMI 2.0 ports (one with eARC ), with the exception of some localizations, where version 2.1 ports are indicated. Which does not affect the operation of the TV in any way, since it will display 120 Hz content through the frame. There are 2 USB ports – one version 2.0, the other version 3.0.
